Description: Follow machine assembly drawings, manufacturer’s manuals, general instructions, and standard practices to locate source of trouble, disassemble, repair, adjust, align, replace and/or install parts, and reassemble, ensuring safe operation of complex CNC machinery. Repair and adjust mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and parts, install new units or fixtures on machines, and make modifications or alterations in accordance with instructions or manufacturer’s specifications and directions. Perform other machine maintenance and repair operations where trouble may be difficult to locate and clues can be given relative to symptoms and component or part requiring attention. Assist higher-grade mechanics with more difficult repair operations. Make up brackets, straps, and other simple parts.
