Description: This position is responsible for the management of Lockheed Martin's Workers’ Compensation and Defense Base Act (DBA) insurance programs and providing general workers’ compensation and DBA management support to all enterprise business area locations across Lockheed Martin. The position reports to the Director, Risk Management in Lockheed Martin's corporate Risk Management department in Bethesda, MD. The principal responsibilities of the position are as follows: • Manage a corporate-wide program of DBA, self-insured workers’ compensation and insured workers' compensation (collectively Workers’ Compensation) best practices and cost containment. • Development of best practices performance standards for all parties involved in the Workers’ Compensation • Management and claim management process • Participation in the negotiation of contracts with service providers • Coordination of performance audits and site-specific cost containment assessments • Follow-up on...
