Description: Receives requests for and dispatches various vehicles and equipment operating within and outside Company property, utilizing a knowledge of vehicle and equipment usage and of Company facilities and city locations; determines and assigns type of vehicle and equipment required for the job and the priority according to nature of request; furnishes information to operators such as type and amount of equipment required, locations of pickup and delivery, type of material or items involved and any special instructions required for the specific job to which operator is assigned; indicates route to be followed, and verifies operators have proper street permits such as oversized load, completed aircraft and controlled materials.
