Responsibilities: Intelligence Analysts have the power to influence world affairs. They provide the most complete possible foreign signals intelligence picture to U.S. policy makers and military commanders. Intelligence Analysts seek creative analytic solutions to answer the nation's continually evolving top security questions. NSA Intelligence Analysts are hired into either a technical mission office or the Intelligence Analysis Development Program (IADP), which lasts up to three years. The IADP is designed to provide an intensive, accelerated opportunity to acquire the unique technical skills and experience needed to successfully apply knowledge and analytic ability to the Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) mission and help analysts achieve core analytic competencies in accordance with the Intelligence Analysis Professional Development Standards (IAPDS).
