Description: Quality Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) & Metrology operations (Level 5) The leader chosen for this position will lead a team of NDT/NDI Test Engineers and represented inspectors. This highly dynamic team continually introduces new technology and techniques in the most advanced programs at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. The leader supervises a staff of 8 direct reports and 21 employees. The leaders will ensure adequate staffing, training, and personnel development. The majority of the team supports first shift operations though support is provided 24/7. The position oversees and proactively manages X-ray, CT, UT and other NDI equipment. Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.     CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: : Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
