Description: We are Lockheed Martin The F‑35 Weapons Flight Test Engineer leads the planning, execution, and analysis of weapon systems test campaigns for the F‑35 Lightning II program at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. The role coordinates with cross‑functional teams (including flight test pilots, systems engineers, software developers, and program managers) to validate weapon integration performance, address anomalies, and deliver data that directly supports aircraft certification and sustainment. In this role, you will develop a deep expertise in weapon system architecture, flight‑test methodology, data‑fusion, and F‑35 mission systems. As the F-35 Weapons systems engineer, duties include, but are not limited to: - Test Planning and Management: Develop weapons test plans, schedules, and resource allocations for multiple F-35 variants requiring interface with the local ITF, Fort Worth SMEs, system vendors, COMSEC authorities, Mission Planning, and potentially other sites....
