Description: Candidate will coordinate all quality processes associated with the F-35 Flight Test Maintenance Modification and Repair at Edwards AFB CA. • This includes performing data analysis on key quality performance measures. • Candidate will support F-35 ITF quality leadership on quality process management, improvement, execution and oversight. • This includes but not limited to: Program Quality Management Plan, Process Surveillance plan and Government Flight Representative Approved Aircraft Ground Operations procedures. • Individual will also perform process surveillance audits, ensure process compliance, and ensure floor level inspectors are equipped with technical support as needed. • Position is subject to short duration deployments and business trips, and shift rotations. • Must be a US Citizen. Description: You will be the Nuclear Hardening and Survivability Engineer – Level 5 for the Aeronautics team which is responsible for ensuring aircraft avionics and mission systems remain operable in hostile nuclear environments. What You Will Be Doing As the Nuclear Hardening and Survivability Engineer – Level 5 you will be responsible for providing deep technical leadership on the design, analysis, testing, and certification of avionics and mission systems that must survive HEMP, ionizing radiation, thermal flash/radiation, blast, gust, and over‑pressure events.
