Description: This position is for a Mechanical Engineering Manager in the Post Boost Control System (PBCS) IPT that both collaborates well in a team environment and has excellent communication skills. In this role, you will have numerous opportunities to represent the PBCS IPT with our Navy partner, LM leadership, and suppliers, with many opportunities for career development along the way. The PBCS IPT is responsible for the development, manufacture, and management of the PBCS which is an attitude control and propulsive subsystem. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to lead our PBCS Design and Analysis Team. Specifically, you will be responsible for managing the engineers on the team, developing the teams technical skills, and ensuring technical excellence for all products developed by the team.
