Description: This analyst in the Operations Analysis Group (aka “Possum Works”) will join a dynamic team environment with a unique culture supporting a myriad of Program and Independent Research and Development (IRAD) tasks. The chemistry of the team is critical to our success. The candidate is expected to be highly motivated to solve strike and missile defense problems at the conceptual level. The candidate will be expected to interface with senior analysts and program leadership. This person will be responsible for supporting propulsion modeling for friendly and adversary boosters, trajectory generation, code development, conducting analysis runs, and maintenance of post processors for the Missile Defense Toolkit simulation suite. Most importantly, the candidate will be expected to interpret results, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on the data they have collected.
