Description: The Manufacturing Engineer for Electric Cable Builds designs, optimizes manufacturing processes for cable, wire harness, and cable assembly production. Acting as the primary technical liaison between Engineering and Production, you will ensure efficient, cost effective, and high quality manufacturing of electrical cable systems supporting the FBM Program Key Responsibilities Process & Layout Development • Create and maintain detailed work instructions, process specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) from engineering drawings and schematics. • Design and implement safe, efficient production layouts and assembly workflows for cable and harness builds. • Specify, source, qualify, and maintain specialized tooling (e.g., automated cutters, crimpers, heat shrink equipment, test fixtures).
