Description: Perform all assigned operations in area required to bond aircraft parts, components, assemblies and relates accessories. Follow detailed oral or written instructions, drawings, specifications, and prescribed procedures to perform various bonding, fitting and related operations on wood, plastic, rubber, sheet metal, etc parts and assemblies. Trim, file, scrape, sand deburr, countersink and drill such parts as emergency hatches, voltage regulator assemblies, fuel cell cover assemblies, bulkheads, etc, as warranted to obtain specified fit. Weigh, mix, and blend adhesives as specified. Clean parts, apply adhesives, load parts in fixture and prepare for appropriate press. oven, vacuum, cold bond operations. Regulate temperatures, pressures and times directed to conform to individual job requirements. Make or adapt protective strips, blocks, etc. to prevent damage during clamping and bonding.
