Description: This analyst in the Operations Analysis Group (aka “Possum Works”) will join a dynamic team environment with a unique culture supporting a myriad of Program and Independent Research and Development (IRAD) tasks. The chemistry of the team is critical to our success. The candidate is expected to be highly motivated to solve strike and missile defense problems at the conceptual level. The candidate will be expected to interface with senior analysts and program leadership. This person will be responsible for supporting propulsion modeling for friendly and adversary boosters, trajectory generation, code development, conducting analysis runs, and maintenance of post processors for the Missile Defense Toolkit simulation suite. Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.     CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
