WORK PERFORMED Plans the layout, fabrication, and assembly of all types and sizes of tools and dies working from tool design and/or engineering information. Supplies any information lacking on the design, print, or sketch. Lays out, fabricates, and assembles tools and dies such as cam action dies; forming dies involving deep draws and compound contours; compound dies with irregular contour requiring coordination of punch holes, or compound dies designed for the production of light and heavy gauge parts; combination dies involving several planes and designed to perform joggling and dimpling operations on light gauge parts; progressive dies that include a forming action, or involve more than two operations.
