Description: Supports the engineering function and production operations for a fabrication area or processing laboratory by performing experiments and tests. Including but not limited to scanning and evaluating products. Evaluates new processes, products, and/or isolates process problems. May design simple experiments. Implements, collects results, maintains appropriate logs, and provides oral and/or written reports of results. Monitors wafer fabrication, process controls, materials, and supplies. May be required to ensure correct functioning and identify any discrepancies. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
