Description: The Fleet Ballistic Missile program at Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) in Silverdale, Washington is seeking a Lead Safety Engineer to support local field site operations. The focus of this role is to Lead a team of Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) professionals whose goal it is to recognize, evaluate and eliminate/control occupational health hazards or environmental stressors and to ensure applicable safety standards are adhered to in areas including (but not limited to) HAZMAT, ordnance handling, injury reporting, fall protection, lock-out tag-out, ergonomics, and electrical/mechanical safety. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Base Management, and provide daily oversight and direction to the Safety Team.
