Description SAIC is seeking a Systems Safety Engineer at our office in Middletown, RI . A successful candidate will work as part of a team analyzing a system to identify hazards, categorize risk, and recommend mitigations to reduce the risk of mishap occurrence. Candidates will collaborate with internal team, government personnel, and subcontractors. Job Duties: Utilizing quantitative and qualitative risk assessment techniques to perform safety analysis in accordance with MIL-STD-882E and other guidance. Analysis of hardware, software, firmware, and system interfaces to identify hazards to personnel, equipment, and the environment, to include supplemental analysis techniques such as fault tree analyses, failure modes and hazardous effects analyses, and sneak circuit analyses.
