Description: The Avionics Program Management team seeks a Project Engineer to oversee the full lifecycle of both external and internal hardware production initiatives. The incumbent will lead planning, organization, control, integration, and execution of avionics missile‑body manufacturing, electrical ground‑support equipment, and related engineering projects. Key responsibilities include regular collaboration with hardware, software, and test engineers, as well as production managers, to identify and mitigate program impacts arising from test failures, material shortages, fallout, and resource constraints. Description: This position performs work on the UK Technical Support Contract (TSC) of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, in support of the US/UK Polaris Sales Agreement. Organizationally, the position is within the FBM UK Program Office (UKPO). The position is 100% onsite (not work from home) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, but situational flexibility for virtual work will be provided as needed to help ensure work/life balance (e.g., to accommodate a repair at home, sick child, car issue, etc.) In general, the UK Program Office and project engineers within the UKPO assist the US Navy with providing support to the UK's Trident II Continuous At Sea Deterrent.
