Position Summary
Odyssey is seeking a Hazardous Materials Specialist 2 position to support the The Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton (NAMRU-D) in Dayton, OH. NAMRU-D's mission is to maximize warfighter performance and survivability through world-class aeromedical and environmental health research by delivering solutions to the field, the Fleet, and for the future. ***Contingent upon contract award***
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to: Serves as the NAMRU-D Unit Environmental Coordinator and Chemical Hygiene Officer with responsibility for all hazardous materials (HAZMAT) and hazardous waste (HAZWASTE). Serves to keep NAMRU-D in compliance with the Installation Hazardous Material Plan and environmental compliance requirements. Maintains HAZMAT and HAZWASTE databases and documentation pertaining to all HAZMAT and HAZWASTE operations. Conducts physical inventories of HAZMAT....
