Overview
LMI is seeking a Senior Product Designer to support Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) digital modernization initiatives spanning workflow improvement, automation, dashboards, AI-enabled experiences, digital tool adoption, and continuous improvement. This discovery-first, outcomes-oriented role will lead human-centered product design from problem framing and user research through prototyping, validation, implementation support, and post-release learning. The Senior Product Designer will work directly with Government users, operational stakeholders, product and program leaders, engineers, data teams, AI/ML specialists, training resources, and support teams to understand how work is actually performed.
