Description: Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team as an Aircraft Field Support Engineer! This position will support the F-35 Program at our Edwards Air Force Base, California facility. Our team is responsible for acting as part of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics technical interface to the on-site customer (Operations and Maintenance) in resolving issues arising from maintenance or modification activities for all matters dealing with the F-35 aircraft. Description: ***** An Interim Secret Clearance is required ****** This position will be part of the aircraft maintenance team supporting the F-35 at Edwards Airforce Base, CA flight test Site. As a team member you will be involved in maintaining all aspects of the aircraft to include F-35 scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft modification, inspection, wire repair, and troubleshooting. Basic Qualifications: Minimum 5 years broad hands-on working experience in a 5 or 7 skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS avionics discipline or equivalent commercial experience such an FAA instrumentation license or 3 years F-35 specific avionics experience.
