Overview LMI is seeking a skilled Space Operations Software Engineer to support the Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP) Space Control Division (SCD) with development of resiliency, kill chain, and space systems modeling, simulation, prototyping, and analysis software to analyze proposed United States space architectures considered by SSDP, the Space Warfighting and Analysis Center (SWAC), and other related government partners. The applicant will work with SSDP and SWAC team members to understand the requirements of the architectures and the environment in which they will operate to be able to assess architecture resiliency against threats to the mission, using LMI’s RAPTR tool. Overview LMI is seeking an experienced Lead Platform Engineer with an active SECRET clearance and minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience to support a US Special Operations Command mission partner. This role involves working directly with US military and US Government mission partners, as well as other contracting partners, to develop-deploy-maintain cloud-based and on-prem digital & software solutions for the Warfighter.     The ideal candidate is adept at applying platform principles in modern software environments, with strong understanding of software integration/testing, strong familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native architectures.
