Description The SAIC Vanguard 2025 Program currently has an opening for a Senior Network Engineer supporting the Dept. of State (DoS) Diplomatic Technology (DT) Network Operations (NO) division. This position primarily supports operations and maintenance of foreign post network integrations with the DoS Core and other network integrations comprising a large and complex network infrastructure and cloud environments, with engineering and design responsibilities as warranted. This program provides transparent, interconnected systems and security supporting the DoS in successfully carrying out its U.S. foreign policy mission. Description This is a Senior/SME position working for the Relay Encryption Operations team within Communication Security, providing network engineering expertise in support of the Vanguard 2025 program. The well-qualified candidate will possess and apply comprehensive knowledge regarding the engineering and implementation of network solutions. The candidate must be capable of planning and leading the testing, implementation, and maintenance of networking technologies and devices. The candidate must be capable of evaluating performance results, performing risk assessments, and recommending changes affecting network configuration/implementation.
