Description The SAIC Vanguard 2025 Program currently has an opening for a Senior Network Engineer supporting the Dept. of State (DoS) Diplomatic Technology (DT) Network Operations (NO) division. This position primarily supports operations and maintenance of foreign post network integrations with the DoS Core and other network integrations comprising a large and complex network infrastructure and cloud environments, with engineering and design responsibilities as warranted. This program provides transparent, interconnected systems and security supporting the DoS in successfully carrying out its U.S. foreign policy mission. Description Varen, an SAIC company is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. This position in located in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Provides high-performance, highly available networking services to support business and mission needs. Responsible for engineering and operational assignments related to deployed solutions backed by Cisco and SolarWinds on multi-level IT systems. Provides O&M support for networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls, encryption devices, copper/fiber connectivity).
