Description SAIC is seeking a Hardware Engineer with expertise in fiber optics for shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness through the integration ofcutting-edge commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systemsand network technologies using fiber-optic infrastructure. Job Duties: Work with a variety of engineering documents, including interface control documents, cable block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and fiber-optic cable topology. Support Stage 4 and Stage 5 test procedures for integrated C5ISR and COTS systems. Ensure system accuracy and readiness through review, updates, and maintenance of engineering documentation.
