Description We are seeking a skilled LAN/WAN Network Engineer to support the Department of State (DoS) Bureau of Diplomatic Technology (DT) program. This program delivers transparent, interconnected systems and robust security to enable the DoS to fulfill its U.S. foreign policy mission. Description Provide Systems Administration for the integration of a large enterprise system as part of a complex Cisco distributed team environment. Provides systems integration utilizing Cisco technologies and ability to implement the latest network technologies such as VOIP, VPN, routing and switching, IDS, Session Border Controllers, Content Switching, Load Balancing, and enterprise class switching. Required to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Cisco VOIP/ Network equipment on the LAN/WAN, test and turn up data circuits, SIP trunks, PRI's and network links in Cisco Routers, switches, wireless access points and Voice Gateways.
