Description: You will be the Inspector Sr for the Quality Assurance team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product quality across all Lufkin programs. What You Will Be Doing As the Inspector Sr you will be responsible for performing inspections of incoming parts, in‑process items, and finished products, evaluating quality, making disposition decisions, and documenting defects. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: ▪ Inspection of incoming purchased components, in‑process assemblies, and completed assemblies. ▪ Utilization of calibrated measuring equipment (dial indicators, micrometers, scales, etc.) to verify product compliance in accordance with required specifications. ▪ Creation of Q‑notes for every defect. ▪ Assists with stock purges, floor audits, and other quality‑system activities. ▪ Applies statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor and verify product quality.
