Description: This position is part of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LM Aero) Supplier Quality Management (SQM) team within the broader Quality & Mission Success organization and oversees supplier Northrop Grumman (NGAS). This position is in Palmdale, CA. Seeking experienced Quality Engineer to support onsite LM team ensuring timely actions and/or development and execution of standard work that improves team and supplier effectiveness and efficiency. Candidate will also serve as primary onsite POC to engage NGAS and DCMA leadership, assist in conflict resolution, and drive accountability to ensure timely execution (i.e. containment, RCCA, continuous improvement, etc.), as well as ensure team alignment and messaging to enable LM goals. Description: As a Quality Engineer on Advanced Development Programs, you’ll be responsible for driving process improvements, managing variation, and influencing cross-functional strategies that reduce defects, scrap, and rework. You’ll collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams while representing the voice of quality in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
