Description: What You Will Be Doing: This is an unaccompanied long-term overseas field service assignment with the U-2 Program in Cyprus. The position calls for a skilled industrial electrician who can operate and maintain a full time, 24/7, diesel driven power plant. They will be responsible for maintaining the site power distribution systems in several aircraft hangars, office buildings, labs and shops. The selectee must be able to understand blueprints, engineering drawings and schematics. An understanding of motor controls and power is required. They will install, maintain and troubleshoot many different types of electrical equipment including air conditioning, frequency converters, DC power supplies and uninterruptible power supplies.
