The Conventional Machinist is responsible for fabricating, re-engineering, repairing and assembling metal parts and components using conventional machines in a "job shop" environment; performing repairs to equipment and parts that are broken or damaged to allow economical salvage of the components; designing, fabricating, machining, and assembling components.
