Description: You will be the Machinist General/ Set-up for the team which is responsible for planning, laying out work for setting up, and operating various types of power feed milling machines and automatic electrically or hydraulically controlled duplicating and profiling machine tools. What You Will Be Doing As the Machinist General/ Set-up, you will be responsible for setting up power machine tools and operating machines for trial runs and to make short runs on complex parts. Description: OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY This occupation requires the complete set-up and operation of manual and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) power machine tools: lathe, milling machine, planer, and other related machine shop tools and grinders. Plan, layout, machine and assemble parts and tools to required precision tolerances.
