Lead the team that provide remote technical support to our company's customers.  Lead the team to provide better service by building systems for managing incoming requests, prioritization, troubleshooting guides and more.   Therefore your role will include functions in leading operations, managing priorities, developing staff, and continuous improvement functions.  This position has planned growth to the Technical Support Manager role and will be located at Peddinghaus headquarters in Bradley, IL - about 45 minutes south of Chicago where we are close enough to enjoy the benefits of living close to Chicago without having to live in it.   Bachelor degree with success in leading teams and working in manufacturing or industrial environments as a team leader or as engineer/technician.

If so, we're interested in talking with you.   Peddinghaus field service techs install industrial laser cutting systems, robotic plasma cutters, and a variety of high tech but heavy machinery that builds bridges, skyscrapers, and any place else that structural steel fabrication work is needed.   Skills/Experience you need:  Maintenance of machinery that uses higher voltages.  After all, we want you to be safe.  Good mechanical aptitudes, and a great attitude.
