Description SAIC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support SAIC production and manufacturing in support of the Department of War (DOW). This position: Develops, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequence, and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. May design arrangement of machines within facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. Will estimate manufacturing cost, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
