Description SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst for our Charleston, SC customer site. The Logistics Analyst will: Oversee the receipt and delivery of inbound/outbound goods; This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining program specific logistics technical documentation, such as: Logistics Schedules, Action Item Tracking Sheets, Program Briefs & Presentations. Calculating procurement lead time, repair turnaround time. Cross-training and backup of other employees. Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pick-up of goods; Arranges for movement of freight to consignee/agent and updates the system with information; Processes necessary invoices to appropriate office for payment; Assist and evaluate needs with shipping points, services, weights and freight permits, and other information needed.
