Description Position: Systems Engineer III (456) SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer III to support the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Division at NSWC Crane. This position supports systems integration and testing for the DRAKE system. DRAKE is a portable, electromagnetic warfare jammer designed to protect Navy ships and personnel by detecting and defeating small unmanned aerial systems (UAS). DRAKE often acts in combination with the Joint Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare (JCREW) system to protect against both drones and electronic threats. In this role, you will work closely with engineers, drafters and technicians, contributing to the creation and updating of Technical Data Packages. The position requires experience with SolidEdge and SolidWorks 3D parametric software, as well as PDM, or a willingness to quickly learn these tools. Success in this role depends on technical proficiency and the ability to understand and efficiently execute relevant processes and procedures.
