Description SAIC is seeking a Supply Technician for our customer site in North Charleston, SC. The Supply Technician: Provides expertise and the ability to supervise the LMADIS Materials Management team Provides material purchase status reports to management Work with Purchasing Team to execute common buys across programs and Build long term agreements with key suppliers Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing to identify and qualify new suppliers Collaborates with other managers to determine material needs Working with all Program Managers, Engineers, and Program Logisticians to furnish complete Build of Materials (BOMs) to Purchasing for RFQ and procurement requirements Resolve program shortages by reviewing and analyzing all back-orders Periodic calls to vendors to insure promised dates are kept Collecting merchandise from the Shipping and receiving section and safely transporting materials to the receiving area Receiving and...
