Description SAIC has an opening for a Mission Assurance Engineering Intern who is willing to gain knowledge of government and SAIC mission assurance processes to assist the Mission Assurance Team. This position is in Chantilly, VA. The selected candidate will augment the SAIC team to organize data, codify processes and develop reports and other products to help enable the work of a multi-discipline team of technical experts in avionics, propulsion, structures and mechanical systems. In doing so, the candidate will be exposed to and learn key aspects of the government independent launch vehicle mission assurance process. Working closely with the customer and end-users to develop requirements and participate in building the software associated with a tactical weapons system, this position is expected to apply robust software engineering processes.
