Description SAIC is currently hiring for a System Administrator in North Charleston, SC. Job Duties: Take full ownership of the day-to-day stability and performance of a dedicated infrastructure stack built on Cisco computing, VMware, and NAS storage. Act as the first responder for hardware and platform-level incidents, applying strong, methodical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues. Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot network components, with a focus on Cisco and Juniper OS, including switches, routers, and VPNs. Work with a high degree of autonomy to manage the health of the hypervisor environment, collaborating with senior engineers when issues require escalation beyond the platform level. Contribute to the administration of hosted services, with an emphasis on supporting and maintaining our Kubernetes (k8s) infrastructure.
