Description SAIC has an immediate need for a System Administrator that can troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1-2 operational tickets as part of a 24/7/365 operations located in either location Charleston, SC or New Orleans, LA. This is a hybrid/remote role; however, the candidate MUST be within 30 miles of either location. NOTE: this is a 3rd shift position (12:00a-8:00aEST) Tuesday-Saturday (subject to adjust for peer/customer support) Typical Duties Include: Acknowledge or receive Priority 1 system outages then troubleshoot Troubleshooting system admin related hosting outages and operational tickets Work with application team and other team members to resolve outages Report outages and issues to data center team members, leadership and program teams Perform software updates and patches, as necessary Use of monitoring systems such as SolarWinds and SPLUNK Manage Active Directory, group policy and Account issues Interpret technical information to create...
