Description SAIC is seeking a Senior Computer Engineer to support the US Navy in Middletown, RI This employee designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that require low-level control processing (Interrupts, Timers Digital I/O and serial communication protocols) for electronic, electro-mechanical, or electro-optic equipment. Develops embedded software for use on real-time and near real-time operating systems and processors including networking and radio systems. Description SAIC has an opening for an organized and motivated Senior Systems Engineer who is looking for an opportunity to grow with our company as we continue to expand our support in the modernization and development of various torpedo test equipment hardware designs as well as supporting production activities out of our Middletown, RI office. The ideal candidate should have experience developing the documentation for and leading Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events such as any of the following: System Requirements Reviews (SRRs), System Functional Reviews (SFRs), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs). The candidate should have the ability to discuss projects they have supported and/or led.
