Standard Job Description Manages general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Directs periodic inspections and general overhaul and repairs or modifications requiring replacement and assembly of parts. Consults manufacturers manuals for specifications and determines feasibility of repair or replacement. May require FAA aircraft and engine mechanic license. The chosen applicant will be responsible for conducting aircraft structural maintenance, repair and modification on the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) CC130J Hercules Fleet operated and maintained at 8 Wing Trenton.
