Description: OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY This classification requires the performance of precise calibration measurements and repair functions on electrical/electronic/physical/mechanical type reference and secondary standards, and related equipment on a Navy facility or within Navy vessels. Maintain standards to the requirements necessary for achieving traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the United States Navy, or other recognized national metrology institutes.
