Description: OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY This occupation requires the complete set-up and operation of manual and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) power machine tools: lathe, milling machine, planer, and other related machine shop tools and grinders. Plan, layout, machine and assemble parts and tools to required precision tolerances. Working independently or as part of a team, repair, maintain, perform modifications and alterations on Support Equipment (SE) and containers. WORK PERFORMED Set-up and operate machine tools and metal fabricating machines, to completely and independently perform any operation within their capacity. Ability to produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine utilizing conversational programming and related software.
