Description This role is to support SAIC's contractual support to the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) Directorate, the Training Specialist 1 position teaches NASA Workmanship Standards courses and IPC Courses, such as Through Hole Soldering and Surface Mount Technologies, to NASA/contractor engineering and technician staff. The Training Specialist 1 teaches courses in support of a Training Lead, who will mentor and oversee their progression as an instructor. Job Description: Obtain Level B instructor certification in the NASA Workmanship Standards and CIT Certifications in the necessary IPC standards and/or maintain such certifications. This requires approximately 2 to 3 weeks of travel to the NASA Level A training centers and IPC training center every other year.
