Description Position: Computer Engineer III SAIC is seeking a Computer Engineer III to support the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Division at NSWC Crane. This position is responsible for performing Threat Load Development on the Joint Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) Electronic Warfare (JCREW) family of electronic jamming systems designed to protect military personnel. The JCREW system is a multi - form factor system used by the U.S. and our allies to counter both unmanned aerial systems and improvised explosive devices. This position supports systems integration and testing for the DRAKE system. DRAKE is a portable, electromagnetic warfare jammer designed to protect Navy ships and personnel by detecting and defeating small unmanned aerial systems (UAS). DRAKE often acts in combination with the Joint Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare (JCREW) system to protect against both drones and electronic threats.
