Description SMAEC III has a rewarding position supporting the NASA Safety and Mission Assurance Engineering Contract (SMAEC III) at the Johnson Space Center in Houston helping to continue our exploration of space. Come join our team and help us continue the mission of space exploration. The Safety Verification Engineers will support the development of the Suit Safety Data Package. Key Responsibilities: These engineers will be responsible for: Writing complete Phase II and Phase III Safety Verification Method Plans for all hazard controls. Generating full verification-by-analysis, inspection, demonstration, or test plans to serve as formal evidence submissions within the Suit Safety Data Package. Developing the actual technical analyses, inspection criteria, and test/demonstration procedures required to close each verification, rather than simply identifying verification methods.
