Standard Job Description Conducts mission/program specific real time spacecraft/satellite flight operations during readiness, execution and evaluation phases. Develops detailed plans and procedures to provide maximum mission support in areas such as orbit dynamics, satellite performance analysis, command and control of on-orbit satellites. Provides technical direction for on orbit mission support, plans for critical vehicle malfunctions and recommends alternate operating techniques to continue maximum mission support. Description SAIC is seeking a Space Systems Engineer with Model-Based Engineering experience to join our team supporting the Space Systems Command. The ideal candidate can translate the customer's needs into technical requirements and specifications so the team can deliver a customer focused engineering solution. In this role, the systems engineer will support development and definition, including performing risk assessments, management of interfaces, technical planning, requirements verification and involvement in systems architecture development.
