Overview

This position provides a wide variety of administrative support to the Security Office staff at the Tysons, VA office. You will be required to be on-site 2-3 days/week after your first 90-days on-site in Tysons, VA.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and maintenance of badge request lists. (internal and external). 

 

Assist with obtaining and ensuring timely renewal of DoD and other building passes for LMI staff, subcontractors, and consultants. 

 

Input data into a variety of security programs to ensure records provided to the federal government reflect accurate information. 

 

Schedule employee briefings, as directed.

 

Help with the preparation of Visit Authorization letters for personnel.

 

Set up and maintain hardcopy files for new employees.

 

Perform document accounting, transmittal, and destruction.

 

Assist in maintenance of Security Management System database, including the contract database.

 

Assist in maintaining the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) to ensure accuracy of personnel records and the C-Cure access control system.

 

Perform routine tasks to support the regular operations of the security function, including filing, typing, data entry, mail distribution, and maintaining materials inventory and supplies.

 

Maintain regular attendance.

 

Travel may be required, possibly including weekends.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required, plus one year of experience in government security program preferred.

 

Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance.

 

Proficiency with word processing systems, database and spreadsheet software.

 

Strong interpersonal and listening skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships throughout the organization and with external points of contact.

 

Ability to contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, promoting teamwork, and fostering positive communication.

 

Strong time management skills and ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks with little supervision.  Must be self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks. 

 

Ability to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.

 

Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in all business matters.

The target salary range for this position is $40,000 - $90,000. 

 

The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
