Linux Systems / Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Paris, Courbevoie

Responsibilities in this position:

• Administer, patch, troubleshoot and performance-tune Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments at enterprise scale.
• Design, implement and maintain Linux-based infrastructure solutions, from development through stabilization and documentation.
• Deploy and operate Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes platforms, including cluster and workload management.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible, Bash and Python.
• Administer VMware vSphere and Red Hat virtualization environments.
• Manage Linux identity services and integration with Microsoft Active Directory.
• Support backup, disaster recovery and data protection solutions, including Zerto and Rubrik.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Participate in incident resolution, including critical infrastructure incidents when required.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security and application teams within a large multinational IT environment.

Your Profile:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Linux, ideally Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience in Linux administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Practical experience with Red Hat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
• Experience with Ansible and scripting in Bash and/or Python.
• Experience with VMware vSphere and/or Red Hat virtualization.
• Knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Active Directory integration.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Zerto and Rubrik.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of infrastructure security, monitoring and capacity planning.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a large multinational IT environment.
• Interest in automation, containerization and modern enterprise infrastructure technologies.
