Description: Precision Fires Mechanical Engineering & Product Design support of Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) production and/or associated development programs. The position may require oversight of a small engineering team which will work closely with Manufacturing, Quality and Procurement to resolve hardware issues in a fast-paced production environment. Tasks include 3D model design, drawing release, supplier support, shop liaison, and a transition to Material Review Board work. A related Bachelor of Science degree and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience are required. Candidates are preferred to be proficient with 3D CAD design (CREO preferred) and MS Office software tools. Experience in production support, and manufacturing liaison are preferred but not required. Description: You will be the Mechanical Engineer Sr for the Simulation and Systems Labs (SSL) team which is responsible for designing and delivering advanced simulation hardware lab environments. What You Will Be Doing As the Mechanical Engineer Sr you will be responsible for leading the mechanical design effort that enables realistic flight‑simulation testing. Your responsibilities will include: Lead mechanical 3D modeling and 2D drawing development for simulation hardware labs. Coordinate procurement, vendor engagement, and fabrication liaison for lab infrastructure. Oversee installation, checkout, and integration of HITL avionics and simulation equipment.
